‘There is a nobility of spirit within you’

“Do not speak badly of yourself, for the warrior inside you hears your words and is lessened by them. You are strong and you are brave. There is a nobility of spirit within you. Let it grow”

There is a lot of resolution talk going around and I figured I might as well jump in! So lets make this short and sweet. Here are my resolutions (thus far, I may add others) for the coming year:

  1. Live the quote I posted above. Speak kindly to myself. Let my soul shine through when my mind is playing games. Let my spirit out and let it rise above. So much good can come out of a little positivity towards yourself. This is something I am great at preaching and not always to good at living. As a trainer, I tell my clients that having a good mindset is half the game (or more). I need to let my soul grow.
  2. Write one letter a month to someone who has impacted my life and let them know how much they have helped me. This is one I have been thinking about for quite some time. I need to let people know that I care. Let them know that their efforts were not for nothing. Re-conecting in a way that is not technology related!
  3. Jan. 2 – Jan. 23 there will be not sugar or alcohol in my life. This one seems a bit cliche to me but here is why it is part of my list. To be able to accomplish a little goal can set me up to accomplish much bigger ones! I want to start the year on a great note with nutrition. I am hoping that by conquering this little task I can complete the year with even better nutrition.

So there you have it! My resolutions for 2017.

I would love to hear some of yours!

I am strong. I am capable. I am powerful. I am beautiful.
