My family may avoid the candy aisle, but our food is never boring! Here is one of our favorites, No bake cookies! (not the best picture)
These are refined sugar free, (can be) gluten free, dairy free and absolutely delicious! My family does not avoid gluten or dairy on a regular basis, these just happen to be free of both!
No bakes: 1/2c. nut butter, 1/4c Coconut oil, 2TBSP Raw, unfiltered honey, 2 TBSP unsweetened cocoa, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1.5-2 c. Whole oats. Warm (do not boil or over heat) nut butter, coconut oil and honey in a pan. Once melted, add in vanilla and cocoa. Stir till you have a smooth sauce. Add in oats. Scoop by the spoonful and place on parchment paper. You can let them sit till hard on the counter or place them in the fridge for a quicker treat! Because coconut oil melts at a lower temp, you may need to keep them in the fridge to keep them not so sticky!
