Like I promised, here is the recipes for my Dairy free, gluten free, sugar free, melt in your mouth, delicious cookies!
These are toddler and husband approved and sure to be a staple in your home. You can change them up by adding different mix-ins and using different nut butters.
1 cup nut butter of your choice (must be just nuts and salt. A type like Jiffy will not work for this recipe)
1/4-1/2 c. honey or pure maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp bakin soda
Optional: Enjoy life choc. chips, cacao nibs, raisens, chopped nuts. Really anything that you would like!
Mix together nut butter, egg, vanilla, honey and any mix ins. Stir till the batter is a little glassy looking.
Chill for at least 30 mins or overnight (don’t skip this, they won’t work). Once they have chilled, stir in the baking soda.
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Take them out of the oven before they look entirely done.
