Straddling the Edge of a Star

I’m Alive!

I am still here, back from a great vacation in the mountains. The past 2 weeks have been a whirlwind! I feel like it has only been 2 days! We had Christmas in Oklahoma, then traveled to Wyoming the next day (driving 900 miles with a toddler and a newborn is an adventure in and of itself), spent 10 days with family in the snow, and now we are just settling back in at home!

My ‘Jan. 1st’ goals/resolutions began yesterday! I’m a little behind but, hey, at least I am on the train!

Every year I set few new goals for myself. Usually things that are attainable, things that are material or physical. This year, I am changing it up. This year is all about:

Compliments and Confidence

Giving more compliments to others; strangers, friends, family, whoever! And having more confidence in myself and my abilities.

I have a big year ahead going back to school (more on that later), raising  a newborn and a toddler, and continuing my fitness business. I need confidence in myself. The kind of confidence I once had before having two kids. I need to believe me when I say I am capable.

I also need to be able to quickly relate to other people to be able to grow my business and help out with my schooling. Being a stay at home mom in the middle of nowhere has not exactly been great for my people skills. I am quieter, less social, and harder to ‘get-to-know’ than I once was. I am hoping the compliments half of my resolution will help out here!

Some other little goals I have are to read more and explore and adventure more!

2018 has a lot in store for my family and I!

Here’s to another amazing trip around the sun! May you conquer all your goals, have all the fun, and enjoy your days!

I am strong. I am capable. I am powerful. I am beautiful

Xoxo,

Anne Nicole
